"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his
love, his leader.
He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to
him to be worthy of such devotion."

Throughout history different cultures have esteemed animals of the canine species.
The Egyptians believed it was the swift Pharaoh Hound Anubis that served as a guide
to the other world. The Greek Philosopher Socrates believed that a person’s
feelings and treatment of a dog was a window into the virtue of that person. Some
North American Indians believe that a dog dug up the ground and pulled the first
man from the womb of Mother Earth, hence the beginning of the population of our
planet. At the Dog's Den Training School we believe that dogs, like us, are
animals and are therefore deserving of mutual respect. We recognize that only through
respect can one truly teach a dog to live harmoniously in our shared society.
